- Commissioning of the new Seed Processing and Research Facility at Palenga, Gulu on December 13th 2007 by the First Lady of the Republic of Uganda, Hon. Janet K. Museveni. The Board Chairman, Dr. J.J Otim and Managing Director, Josephine Okot received the Chief guest and other stakeholders.
- Uganda Investment Authority recognised Victoria Seeds Limited's contribution to Uganda's economy and awarded the company Investor of the Year 2007 Prize in Small Enterprise category. His Excellency President Y.K. Museveni handed the winner's trophy to the Managing Director on January 18th 2008 at a colourful ceremony at Hotel Africana. According to Uganda Investment Authority by 2007, the firm had invested $1.48m in the seed sector employing 69 people including 24 women groups, established a modern seed processing plant the first of its kind in Northern Uganda and a research facility at Kawanda, Kampala.
